My dear wife,
Deborah Boyar, Ph.D., is an extremely talented somatic psychotherapist, counselor, and teacher in the
Waking Down school of spiritual and human integration. Trained in
Somatic Experiencing and
Bodynamics, among other disciplines, Deborah specializes in helping people face their trauma and in accepting it and healing, discovering a path of awakening. Her profoundly gentle sensitivity to the most delicate fabrics of the wounded psyche make her an angelic being in the lives of many people, especially those of my son and me! She’s also an artist-photographer, and took many of the pictures on this site.
